Balancing life and friendships.

We're all adults and most of us are in our mid to late 20's. We are currently in a stage where we are finding new friends, losing old ones and still in the midst of finding ourselves while raising these kids, searching for our soulmate and trying to solidify our career. THAT IS A LOT! I often feel like I don't have enough time for my friends or I don't check on them enough. And that's just my personal guilt. The average person can see that I am genuinely busy trying to build a better lifestyle for myself and my kid. Friends are important, at any stage in life, especially the "good" friends. And the good depends on the type of friends you may need. Some of us like to go out and party, some don't. Some of us like book clubs, some of us like concerts. However you feel a friend can best cater to you, that is what you should be looking for. One thing that I have learned is friends don't grow "with" you and you cannot blame them or be upset wit...

Feminine energy

Back again ladies!! I hope your week is going well. This week is focused on reflecting opposed to just reading. This week, I want us to think about the best ways to tap into our feminine energy. WITHOUT A MAN. Think of things that makes you feel safe, beautiful and fulfilled. Some examples I have for myself are: pampering myself, cooking & cleaning my home are my top 3. Comment yours: Love y’all, See you next weeeeek ❤️

Forgive or forget?

How do you find peace within situations where you may feel you have been wronged? I would like to be perfect and say “I just move on” but I don’t. As an adult, hell a human, people are going to shit on us. Regardless to how good of a person you were to them. It is easy to forgive yourself or tell yourself “I didn’t do anything wrong” and in prospect of the opposing party, I can 100% guarantee you that’s what that person is thinking. In the past few years, I have become so at peace with what I have not done. And something else I have learned is peace comes from within, no one else can give you that.  Even though, I may question myself like “dang what made them do that to me” or “what did I do to deserve that from them”. Nothing has brought me peace more than being genuine and knowing that it was not me. See, what we fail to realize is that everyone is raised differently and on different morals. What is dead wrong to me, may have been okay in their household. And that’s totally up to...

Reciprocating the love

This week is about giving... to your significant other 🙂. I wanted to write this blog in reflection of myself just so you guys can connect and possibly see where you may be slacking. One thing I've learned about myself in my current relationship is that I think I'm perfect and I'm not. See, it is so easy for me to pick out each flaw in my significant other but I rarely see my own. I am a big giver and I put my all into my relationship, so much that I may think is important that I often fail to cater to his love language. The simplest example I can refer to is this... so in the mornings, my boyfriend takes our daughter to school the begins his day. For the many years that we have bee together, he has always texted me "good Morning" after about an hour or so of being gone. He always texts throughout the day to make sure I am okay and I don't need anything. Of course, after 4 years, I'm used to this text. I don't think much of it but he recently express...
