New Year, new who?

Back again ladiesssss! This week I'm giving a few tips on how to transition into the new year smoothly. We all may have our own New Years rituals like eating collard greens for money and black-eyed peas for luck. But this year? We are going to put in some foot work behind those rituals. A few things I like to do before the new year approaches are deep clean my home, stock up on all house goods and make a list of my personal, business and family goals for the year. Today is the 29th of December and I am proud to say I have completed about 85% of this list! Deep cleaning consists of going through clothes, cleaning the carpets, mopping, wiping down all surfaces, organizing. Like, literally everything that you have been putting off for months NEEDS to be done. I love keeping my home stocked because it saves me so much time in the long run. I made one trip to Sam's for tissue, paper towels, detergent, fabric softener. I bought everything down to my candle lighters lol & I spent ...

Mom Like Habits

Hi ladies! Welcome back to week 3 of the Mama Rose blog! This weeks topic was inspired by my sister. She asked me to do a blog about habits that I have picked up since being a mom. I have a few but #1 is drinking  🤣 . And you can take this how you want, I know for a fact that I am not a drunk. Nor do I spend money that I don’t have on drinking. But anyway, I like to drink in the evenings just as an escape from the many responsibilities that I have daily. Many of you know that Crown Royal Apple is my top FAV! But I also will drink tequila, love a good cognac & recently I’ve tried Jack Daniels honey which is a hit as well. #2 is eating good. Before having my kid, I would be content with having a simple sandwich for dinner. But not anymore! I work hard, I play all my roles to the T, the least I deserve is a decent meal before bed. Even if I have to make that meal myself, I will not go to bed hungry or dissatisfied. #3 is seeing the value in money. Have y’all ever seen that...

What stinks?

Hi Ladies! Welcome back to another week of the Mama Rose blog. Before I begin this weeks topic, I want to say again that the purpose of this blog is to discuss the undiscussed. We are all women and we often are embarrassed of things we go through that are 100% normal. With that being said, this weeks topic is BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS. Bacterial vaginosis, also known as BV is a vaginal infection caused by having too much bacteria. Symptoms often include: itching, odor, and increased discharge. There are many things that can lead to BV. A few are an increase/change in sexual partners, change in soap (even laundry detergent), and pregnancy. BV is easily cured and often times, you can call your OBGYN, describe your symptoms and they will send a prescription to your pharmacy without a visit. (often, not always) A few things that I have found that work with relieving BV symptoms are boric acid suppositories, you can find them on Amazon. Also, The HoneyPot Co has an amazing vaginal wash that ...

Welcome ❤️🌹

Hey Ladies! Welcome to the Mama Rose blog. Many of you are here from IG so you are familiar with the 'girl talks' I used to host on my stories. Well, this is a spin off of those girl talks. Here I will host weekly blogs on topics that many women are not comfortable with discussing. I would like for us to all be comfortable and confident, that's the Comfy Rose way!  Blogs will typically be posted on Wednesday's and I hope to inspire if I can and to also bring awareness and make other women comfortable in knowing that they are not alone. Love, Autumn

Social Media Hiatus 😌

As a mom, spouse & entrepreneur, I find myself always needing time. Time to spend with my kid, time to show my man affection, time to engage with my customers… the list goes on. However, I need all of this “time” but something is always falling short. I am only one person. How can I be responsible for so many things & actually be good at them? Well, there was one thing that I always seemed to find time for and that’s social media. Social media is easily accessible and entertaining. It truly is “something to do when there’s nothing to do” but definitely not something to do while you should be focusing on other things, more important things. I found my responsibilities slipping through the cracks. I may sit on my phone for 20-30 minutes neglecting the fact that it’s bath time for my baby or that I have not completed my email campaign for the month. I’m not getting any younger lol. But one thing I have noticed is valuable is TIME. There are moments I may spend with my baby that sh...
