Hey Ladies!

Welcome to the Mama Rose blog. Many of you are here from IG so you are familiar with the 'girl talks' I used to host on my stories. Well, this is a spin off of those girl talks. Here I will host weekly blogs on topics that many women are not comfortable with discussing. I would like for us to all be comfortable and confident, that's the Comfy Rose way! 

Blogs will typically be posted on Wednesday's and I hope to inspire if I can and to also bring awareness and make other women comfortable in knowing that they are not alone.

Forgive or forget?

How do you find peace within situations where you may feel you have been wronged? I would like to be perfect and say “I just move on” but I don’t. As an adult, hell a human, people are going to shit on us. Regardless to how good of a person you were to them. It is easy to forgive yourself or tell yourself “I didn’t do anything wrong” and in prospect of the opposing party, I can 100% guarantee you that’s what that person is thinking. In the past few years, I have become so at peace with what I have not done. And something else I have learned is peace comes from within, no one else can give you that.  Even though, I may question myself like “dang what made them do that to me” or “what did I do to deserve that from them”. How to stretch your time

 This morning, I honestly felt like super woman. Before 9am this morning, I cleaned up the entire upstairs, started laundry and went to the grocery store. ALL before 9am when I have to clock-in to work. (I wake up at 7am) One thing that I thought about as I was leaving the grocery store is the days that I don't get an early start to. The days that I could have done more but I did not have 'time'.  So, as I sat there, I'm thinking like wow.. I could literally pick a day out of the week to complete chores. For examples: Monday: Bathrooms, Tuesday: Bedrooms, Wednesday: Laundry/floors etc. That would help me out so much, just dedicating 30mins or so to clean an area. I also (TRY) to plan out our meals for the week. This way I can go grocery shopping once for the week then focus on the menu for the following week. I'm a mom, I work part-time, run my business full time, try to stay on top of my hair/nails/eyebrows ETC all while running a household is HARD! I am sharing th...

Balancing life and friendships.

We're all adults and most of us are in our mid to late 20's. We are currently in a stage where we are finding new friends, losing old ones and still in the midst of finding ourselves while raising these kids, searching for our soulmate and trying to solidify our career. THAT IS A LOT! I often feel like I don't have enough time for my friends or I don't check on them enough. And that's just my personal guilt. The average person can see that I am genuinely busy trying to build a better lifestyle for myself and my kid. Friends are important, at any stage in life, especially the "good" friends. And the good depends on the type of friends you may need. Some of us like to go out and party, some don't. Some of us like book clubs, some of us like concerts.
